Abby and Matt
are getting married!Our relationship began in late 2012, in the classiest and most romantic of settings, where only the truest love can take root – a casino. We were with our respective best friends when our groups met. They already knew one another, and as they talked, we found ourselves happily entertained by each other. Though we might be bad at gambling, it seems we have great luck at casinos.
A relationship seemed like a long shot at first; two weeks after we met, Abby moved to Baltimore for a year in AmeriCorps. But with nothing to lose we gave it a shot, and absence really did make the heart grow fonder. Well, absence and duck fat French fries. Through many cities, states, laughs, tears, and contentious board game battles, we've found that life’s adventures are better together.
In the summer of 2016, Cooper gave Matt the nod of approval to make Abby part of the pack. Now we’re excited to say “I do” and share our day with you!
